Columbia Threadneedle Investments is a global asset management business operating across multiple markets and regions. During my time there, I worked as part of the in-house design team, delivering a wide range of creative projects across marketing, communications, events and brand, within a highly regulated financial services environment.

Global campaigns and marketing communications
I worked across global and regional advertising campaigns for both print and digital channels, ensuring clarity, consistency and strong brand presence across international markets. My role covered the design of UK and European marketing materials including advertorials, white papers, thought leadership content, product guides, sales decks, reports, updates, brochures, direct marketing and fund profiles. Projects often required translating complex financial information into clear, engaging and accessible visual communications.

Events, conferences and experiential design
Alongside core marketing activity, I delivered creative for a wide range of events and conferences, supporting both internal teams and external audiences. This included save-the-date communications and invitations for print and digital, delegate packs, name badges and on-the-day materials, as well as full event branding. I designed signage, banners and stage sets to ensure a cohesive and professional experience across every touchpoint, from pre-event communications through to on-site delivery.
Brand guardianship and international collaboration
I also acted as a brand guardian, helping to maintain, update and develop Columbia Threadneedle’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels and regions. In parallel, I built and nurtured strong working relationships with colleagues across Europe and internationally, including teams in Italy, Germany, Spain, Singapore and the US. This collaborative approach helped deliver the highest possible level of service, creativity and brand consistency across global projects.
Alongside campaign and publication work, I played a key role in event and conference branding, delivering end-to-end creative for both internal and external events. This covered everything from save-the-date communications and invitations for print and digital, through to delegate packs, name badges, signage, banners and stage sets. In addition, I acted as a brand guardian, helping to maintain and evolve the Columbia Threadneedle brand through the ongoing development and update of brand guidelines. This ensured consistency across all touchpoints while allowing the brand to adapt and grow across different channels, formats and audiences.
