Dank, Dreich, Lashing, and Spitting are just a few of the many inclement words used to describe the weather in Scotland.

Mochie, Scorchio, and Roastin’ are unfortunately some of the rarer breeds of words used to describe the all too few days of summer! However, thanks to global warming, the number of days that have sun in them have almost reached double figures!
These are a selection of typographical note cards created to celebrate the diverse range of weather conditions experienced in Scotland. Occasionally seasonal, sometimes weekly and often minute by minute.
Don’t leave the house without a jacket, or a jumper, or an umbrella, or sun cream, my mum would often say to me!
